Cannot open Studio

Studio appears in the learner app footer for users with Studio access. Direct URL: studio.mentorhq.com.

"Studio is for admins & L&D"

If Studio Home shows this message, your role has no Studio-relevant permission. Ask an admin to open Admin → Roles & access and grant what you need:

• Authoring: Edit content (content:write) and usually Publish content (content:publish)
• Assigning: Create assignments (assign:create)
• Reports: Manage assignments (assign:manage)
• Forge: Run Forge / Publish Forge (plus the Forge feature flag on the workspace)

Nav items missing inside Studio

Each nav item is gated separately — for example Reports needs reports or assignment-manage permission, and Forge additionally needs the feature enabled for your organization. See Studio overview for the item-by-item table.

Still blocked?

• Confirm you are in the correct workspace (Settings → Workspaces).
• Confirm your membership is active, not disabled.

Studio does not replace Admin for people and branding — those stay in the learner app.
