Brand colors
Primary, secondary, soft surface, and text-on-primary explained.
Open Admin → Organization → Branding → Colors. Each color has a picker and a hex field (#RRGGBB).
| Color | Where it appears |
|---|---|
| Primary | Buttons, links, and accents across the app and catalog; the sign-in button in invite emails; the wordmark when no logo is set |
| Secondary | Deeper supporting accent — secondary text and highlights on branded surfaces |
| Soft surface | Light tinted backgrounds, including the catalog header band |
| Text on primary | Label text sitting on primary-colored buttons |
Until you save your own values, the workspace uses Mentor blue: primary #0a5fc4, secondary #063f86, soft surface #eaf1fc, text on primary #ffffff.
Choosing readable colors
- Primary vs Text on primary is the pair that matters most — it renders every main button. Aim for a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 (white text on a dark or saturated primary usually works; light primaries need dark text).
- Keep Soft surface light. It sits behind regular dark text in headers and panels.
- Pick a Secondary that is still legible on white and on the soft surface.
- Check the Live preview — the sample Sign in button uses your primary and text-on-primary exactly as emails and the catalog will.
Colors are applied after Save branding. If everything still looks Mentor blue, the save has not happened yet.
