Documents and acknowledgements

Read required policies and confirm you understand them.

Documents lists policies, SOPs, and other required reading assigned to you — *"Open each one, then confirm you've read it."*

Statuses you may see on each row:

  • Needs your confirmation — not started
  • In progress — opened but not confirmed
  • Confirmed — done

If the list is empty: No documents yet — *"When your company assigns a policy or handbook, it shows up here for you to read and confirm."*

Confirm a document

  1. Open the document with Read & confirm (or View for already-confirmed documents).
  2. Read the current version. The header shows a Version {n} badge, and while you read, a reading timer runs so your organization can see engagement.
  3. Complete the confirmation method the document requires. Under the Confirm heading you will see one of:
  • Checkbox — tick *"I have read and understand this document (v{n})."*
  • E-sign — type your full name in the Type your full name field, then tick the checkbox
  • Comprehension quiz — answer the questions; every answer must be correct
  1. Choose Acknowledge.

After confirming, the page shows Acknowledged {date} with your signature name if you e-signed.

Errors you might see

  • Signature name required — the e-sign field was left empty.
  • Comprehension quiz not passed — one or more answers were wrong; re-read and try again.

New versions

When your organization publishes a new version of a document, your previous acknowledgement no longer covers it — the document returns to Needs your confirmation and you confirm the new version. This is by design for controlled documents.
