List a course in your catalog

When catalog is enabled for your organization, published courses can be listed on your public portal from the Studio course builder. Listing requires the Publish content permission.

List a course

1. Open Studio → Courses → your course.
2. Publish it — the listing control is disabled until the course is published (*Publish before listing in the catalog*).
3. Choose List in catalog. You will see *Listed in the public catalog* and the button changes to Listed in catalog.

Choose Listed in catalog again to remove it (*Removed from the public catalog*). Unlisting stops new enrollments but does not remove learning from people already enrolled.

What learners see

The catalog card shows the course title, its catalog summary (falling back to the course description), and estimated minutes. Learners self-enroll without using your employee seats — see Enrolling from the catalog.

Where your catalog lives

Studio → Settings → Courseware storefront shows your live portal link. If you do not see the listing button at all, catalog is not enabled for your organization — contact Mentor to turn it on.
