Studio

Courses

Create courses natively, from templates, by AI outline, or SCORM import.

Studio → Courses lists every course with its status badge (draft or published), lesson and quiz counts, and an Open builder button. Creating and editing requires Edit content (content:write).

Four ways to create a course

  1. Blank course — type a title into New course title and choose Create. You land in the builder with an empty outline.
  2. Import SCORM package — drop a SCORM 1.2 or 2004 .zip exported from Rise, Storyline, Captivate, or another authoring tool. See Import a SCORM package for the full flow, validation, and limits.
  3. AI outline — under More authoring tools, enter a topic (for example *Food safety*) and choose Generate. Mentor creates the course with a three-lesson draft outline to edit.
  4. Templates — under More authoring tools, pick a saved template and choose Use. Templates are created from the builder with Save template.

After creating

  • Build lessons, quizzes, forms, and proof gates in the builder — see The course builder.
  • Publish when ready, then Assign and optionally List in catalog — see Publishing, assigning, and the catalog.

Empty state: No courses yet — *"Create a blank course, or import a SCORM zip above."*
