Seats and plan usage

Mentor plans are seat-based. Two places show your usage:

• Admin → Organization → Overview — plan key and active seats
• Studio → Settings → Seats — the fuller view: Plan {plan} · {n} active seats / {limit} (or (unlimited)), plus any grace seats and the feature flags enabled for your workspace

How seats are counted

Only members with status active consume a seat. Invited members do not count until their first sign-in, and disabled members free their seat immediately. Learners who self-enroll through your public catalog do not consume employee seats either — see Enrolling from the catalog.

At the limit

When every seat is used, new invites fail with Seat limit reached ({n}). Upgrade plan or request grace seats. Your options:

1. Disable members who no longer need access (Admin → People) to free seats.
2. Contact Mentor to raise the cap or add temporary grace seats.

New workspaces start on a Core plan · 30-day trial with learning, documents, forms, and proof enabled. Billing self-serve (invoices, plan changes) is marked Soon in the Organization nav — contact support@mentorhq.com for plan changes today.
