Sign in

How Sign in works across app, Studio, and catalog.

  1. Open app.mentorhq.com or studio.mentorhq.com.
  2. Choose Sign in.
  3. Complete sign-in on the Mentor sign-in screen (auth.mentorhq.com).
  4. You return to the page you started from.

If you open a signed-in page while signed out, you will briefly see Redirecting to sign in… before the sign-in screen appears. After signing in, Mentor returns you to the page you were trying to reach.

From marketing, Sign in sends you to the product app and then into Home.

After you sign in

  • If you belong to one organization, you land in that workspace.
  • If you belong to more than one, Home shows Choose your organization — pick the workspace you need. You can switch later under Settings → Workspaces.
  • New users without a workspace are guided through Create a new organization on onboarding.

Catalog enrollments

On a public catalog, Sign in to enroll or Enroll and start may ask you to sign in first, then return you to the course you chose.

Sign-in error banners

If sign-in does not complete, the app shows a dismissible banner. What each one means:

Banner What to do
Sign-in expired. Start again from the app. The sign-in attempt took too long or was opened from a stale tab. Start again from the app.
Sign-in did not return a session. Try again from the app. Retry from the app rather than a bookmark of the sign-in screen.
Sign-in completed, but we could not verify the session. Try again. Retry; if it repeats, clear cookies for the site and sign in again.
Could not complete sign-in. Try again. Temporary problem completing the handshake — retry.
Sign-in failed. Please try again. Generic failure — retry, then contact support if it persists.
