Submitting proof
Capture evidence for a skill check and what happens after.
A proof task asks you to show a skill, not just complete a module. Open it from Tasks → Proofs (or Open proof inside a course or from a Coach prompt).
What the page shows
- The capability name and the bar to clear — for example Pass at 70% · ai then manager
- The evidence types allowed, shown as a badge — for example video · photo · text
- What to show — the author's instructions, plus the rubric criteria you will be scored against, listed as *{criterion} — {description}*
- Latest — your most recent attempt and its status, including any Manager: note if a reviewer sent it back
Capture evidence
Under Submit proof you can:
- Choose file or drag a file onto Drop media here
- Take photo or Record video directly in the browser — then Capture photo or Start recording / Stop
- Add Written evidence — *"What did you do, step by step? What would a manager see?"*
If the browser blocks the camera you will see *"Camera access was denied. Allow camera (and mic for video) or upload a file instead."*
Submit
Choose Submit proof. Validation messages you might see:
- Add media and/or a short write-up before submitting.
- Upload or capture media for this proof. — this proof requires media, not just text
- Write at least a short paragraph (20+ characters). — text-only proofs need a real write-up
After you submit
- Scoring… — automated review is in progress.
- Submitted — awaiting confirmation — *"Your evidence is in. A manager will confirm when required."*
- Proof accepted — you passed; the credential path moves forward.
If a manager sends the attempt back, the task reopens with their note. Record a clearer take covering the rubric criteria and submit again.
